This season, we feel grateful to have so many different types of jacket silhouettes from 3sixteen. This chore jacket has all the things we love about a chore jacket: big pockets, coverall-style construction, and a roomy fit for activities. The real star of the show is this neppy denim. We often see nep in dark denim where the contrast is super rich. When you get a lighter fabric like this, the nep blends in a bit more as it does when a raw denim piece fades. So you get a slightly more vintage look up front. To go back to their denim roots, they've made this 11oz Denim Chore Coat in the US of A.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in the Chore Jacket. 3sixteen fits him extremely well in size large. This was probably the roomiest of the jackets in this lineup, meaning the arms and body went a bit long. Tommy could likely have worn a medium in this. In terms of the first wash and shrinkage, a large is still probably the right call. The neppy denim will pull up in the arms and is prone to have a bit of shrinkage after washing. For layering, we find we always prefer to have it a little big vs a little small. If you don't want to try to shrink it, go with your true size. Otherwise, we always recommend going up once. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40" chest.
